MEET SONNY JANE

Sonny Jane Wise is a fiercely authentic neurodivergent, queer, and disabled keynote speaker, author, and advocate leading conversations on neurodiversity and neurodivergence through lived experience.

Since 2018, Sonny has built a national and international presence, growing an online community of over 170,000 people and delivering talks, training, and keynotes for schools, universities, government agencies, mental health services, and businesses - challenging deficit-based narratives around neurodivergence.

Sonny is the creator of the original Neurodivergent Umbrella graphic and the author of We’re All Neurodiverse and The Neurodivergent Friendly Workbook of DBT Skills, the first DBT workbook designed through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, with over 100,000 copies sold worldwide.

Drawing on lived experience of Autism, ADHD, BPD and more, alongside a background in peer support and sociology, Sonny supports people to become neurodiversity-affirming, build genuinely neuroinclusive spaces and critically examine neuronormativity across systems of care, education, and work.
